I have so much to say about this chapter!
Fi...Wow. I have so much to say about this chapter!

First, I love this story so much. Jake and Dylan are so perfect for each other, even with all the blunders and misunderstandings. I just love the two of them!

But, I sort of agree with the Anonymous post up above. We had to sit through all the chapters of miscommunication and assumptions, waiting for Jake and Dylan to get their shit together. It was such pleasant torture. Because it built their relationship on a solid footing, and anticipation is a wonderful feeling. Now, though, I feel like we're going back in time and have to sit through chapters and chapters of what-ifs and misunderstood actions. With everything the boys have already been through together, and how they already know each other well enough (Jake and his stubbornness and independence... Dylan with his sweetness and never wanting to push), I'm hoping you don't drag it out too long. I don't know how much longer the story can support the boys doing this again.

On the other side of that-- Dylan and Jake have a lot of trust to rebuild. And that takes time, of course. If you had them move on too soon, it would have felt rushed and unreal. But, I was hoping... really hoping... that when Dylan came to talk to Jake and apologize (after he returned home from the hospital), that he would have been more open about everything. I mean, he had almost lost the love of his life. He had shown us his true feelings while he cared for Jake in the hospital (gotta love inner monologs), and I was hoping he would have finally just let it all out. Pride be damned. He swallowed his pride in so many other ways, so I had hoped he would have done it here.

The awkwardness of them living together really shows the rift in their relationship, but I guess I'm just really hoping that they both start being honest with each other. And soon. I love these two so much, but I'm getting annoyed with their behavior.

So, to wrap it all up... I utterly love this story. To the point that I check the blog at least 2-3 times per day to see if you've posted the next chapter! I guess I just don't want to see Jake and Dylan waste more time than they already have. It's time that Dylan stepped up and let all of his pent-up feelings out. And it's time that Jake (now that he can be emotional without passing out from lack of oxygen) finally talked to Dylan about the way he feels too. Hopefully fate will play a part in bringing these two to a place where that can finally happen. And soon.

Anyways-- awesome job. And I can't wait for the next chapter.NaughtyCouturehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18224834517869222459noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166050928876131348.post-75405082626260815602012-11-17T16:43:42.688-08:002012-11-17T16:43:42.688-08:00Oh, this was great. I wish Jake would get off his high horse and at least talk to poor Dylan about their relationship and the future. Hmm... I wonder who is going to step up and make the first move?

Another great chapter. Lol! You really are living up to your name 'cliffgirl' with this story. Every time and exciting cliffhanger where I wanna pull my hair out cuz I wanna know what happens. Love it. Can't wait for more. Much love.

Katie [wondrgirl05@gmail.com]Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3166050928876131348.post-65887992600890238422012-11-17T15:14:37.477-08:002012-11-17T15:14:37.477-08:00Great chapter
BUT
Please don't drag it out ...Great chapter

BUT

Please don't drag it out too long. It seems you're heading for a reconciliation between them and it's certainly what your audience expects. But we had several chapters at the beginning where they were in love and didn't know the other loved them back, we're heading into deja vu territory if you keep them apart now whilst both are still in love but unaware of the other's feelings.

Your last paragraph suggests that they are heading for reconciliation next chapter, I hope so. It's your story and you have to tell it your way but I was disappointed that they failed to reconcile this chapter and I'm not sure the story could support them being in love but apart for too much longer.
